Chaos Creations is a small LGBTQ+ owned business!

All products are handmade or hand-mixed by a book lover for the book lovers.

Our CEO Andi Winter decided to create her own wax lines to amplify her reading experience. Andi noticed that the Dark Romance community receives a lot of negative backlash for enjoying a different genre than most, she created a section that allows like-minded individuals to share the passion of their favorite morally grey characters. Chaos Creations uses all-natural ingredients and are ethically sourced. Our wax is a Vegan wax (Soy Wax) is an alternative wax that doesn’t contain any animal-derived ingredients!

Chaos Creations is passionate about the environment and the different issues that are occurring. We have created a special section called Eco Grimlin that has producsts that are handmade to bring awareness to these issues and donate proceeds to conservations or foundations.

What are our candles made out of?

We use all-natural vegan soy wax made with USA grown soy beans! They are zinc free and clean burning. Most of our fragrance oils are Phthalate-Free and are formulated for a strong hot and cold scent throw!

What is Vegan Wax

Vegan wax is a type of wax that doesn't contain any animal-derived ingredients, making it cruelty-free and an ethical alternative to traditional waxes such as beeswax or lanolin. Plant based sources like Soy makes it more sustainable for candle making and helps promote our ethical and environmental values.

What type of colorant do we use?

We use Synthetic Mica and a non-toxic natural vivid color pigments. The products we use are natural and ethically sourced.

Frosting or Wet Spots

Frosting or wet spots may occur with your candle. This is completely normal, and a sign that it is made with natural soy wax. Neither frosting or wet spots will effect the scent throw or burn of your candle.

Processing Time

Our processing time is 3-14 business days (not including weekends or holidays)! This time is from when the order is placed until it ships does not include transit time. We allow 3-14 business days to ensure that our wax products have the appropriate time to cure. This allows the wax and fragrance oils time to bind at a molecular level to create strong hot and cold scent throws.

In Stock or Made-to-Order?

Most of our products are in stock but we do a lot of made-to-order as well. We are a small business and make everything by hand at Chaos Creations!

What is the Chaotic Community?

Chaotic Community is a group dedicated for ones who shares the same passion of dark romance reads.

Q: Why is there a one-time fee of $5?

A: There is a one-time fee of $5 to ensure that rules will be followed. A fee is acting as a commitment to ensure that members are serious about joining the community.

What is Eco Grimlin?

Eco Grimlin is a line created by our CEO Andi Winter to bring awareness to different environmental issues. Themes of animal endangerment, the importance of reuse, reduce, and recycle. Every product that is made by Chaos Creations doesn't get wasted. When wax products are being made left over wax is not discard, it is poured into a container that is labeled as Chaotic Mystery and will be sold as a mystery item, if something cannot be reused it is recycled.

Return & Exchange Policy

We understand how tricky it can be to purchase fragrance products online – We totally get it! That is why we are committed to offering the best bookish shopping experience possible!

Cancellation Policy

Orders can be cancelled within 48 hours of ordering. We work quickly to get your order prepped for shipment, so it is possible that your order gets shipped within 48 hours depending on how your order falls on the shipping cycle. If your order has already been shipped, we are unable to cancel your order.

Non-Returnable Items

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on

samples, sample boxes, diffusers, author collections,

custom orders, sale items or gift cards.

Return & Exchange Eligibility

We love our bookish inspired candles and hope you do too! If you order a product, you don’t absolutely love right out of the box, you can exchange an unburned product within 10 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return and exchange your items must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, please email us! If your return is accepted, we’ll send you further instructions on how and where to send your package. Please be cautious that items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. We strive to make your shopping experience with us the best as possible, submitting a request will get you better communication!

Please email us with your order number, the reason for the exchange, and the desired candle scent, we are more than happy to exchange an unburnt product for a different scent!

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if we made a mistake, your items arrived damaged, or if the item is defective, we sincerely apologize and will take care of that for you!
